BART needs to keep educated riders about what they can't take on the escalators. I have seen too many people take things on Bart escalators that don't belong on escalators. Things suck as baby strollers and bikes.

There’s a bike path in a tunnel that goes under a river in the Netherlands. OK, if they are woking that many hours why the heck does the one on the east end of the Embarcadero Station next to the Hyatt Regency Hotel go out and stay out of operation for more than one day at a time?????

Just a thought. BART carries almost half a million people every day. It stands to reason that their escalators would carry most of them too. Under that continuous strain, I can see why they break down so often.

Man, when I lived in San Francisco, I loved the Bart. I rode it nearly every day just for fun. One day, The escalator just stopped for no reason, and now I have an idea.
