Max’s older videos are a lot less schizophrenic which is prolly why you’re able to follow along. Also, while the games aren’t connected, Miyazaki tends to leave little Easter eggs that reference other games

Ya there’s still the long standing theories about Chester in Oolacile being a Yharnamite. And the world of bloodborne being the result of the blood of the dark soul from Gael being what created the painted world, where bloodborne could take place. Not even touching the connections between demons souls and dark souls. Vaati put out a great video detailing a lot of the theories and even if they’re not true, they’re super interesting.

the games aren't necessarily connected (unless the have the same name like dark souls) but in general it is only hinted that they may be connected (in a multiverse kinda way). for example in dark souls one, there is a character that is hinted to be from another universe. he also has a outfit that would match with bloodbornes theme. there are probably more but i can't remember.

Demon's Souls, that Dark Souls series, Elden Ring, Bloodborne, and Sekiro all have hints that they're connected Bloodborne and Sekiro are stated to be connected. Demon's Souls has the Old One, a tree monster that threatens covers the world in fog. It cannot be killed. Even if you stand against it, it will come back long after the events of the game. Dark Souls begins in a world completely covered in fog and giant trees. Dark Souls 3 ends with the creation of a painted world made using the Dark Soul, that, unlike previous painted worlds, will never rot. Elden Ring begins with the shattering of the Elden Ring. After the shattering, the scarlet rot emerges. A dreamlike area in Bloodborne has the same giant trees and fog. The Great Ones are not too dissimilar to the Old One.

I mean all of FromSoftwares game universes are (sort of half) canonically living side by side on parallel plains on existence. So Demon/Dark Souls, Bloodbourne, Sekiro and Elden Ring all have similar gameplay styles (with Sekiro being more fast paced), popularized by FromSoftware.

The Fromsoft games aren't connected, but they also are. The Dark Souls series takes place in the same world centuries apart, so you can stick anything in there, and their previous games are found as books and ancient tales in their later games. So who knows.
