One of the things you asked that I don't think anyone's answered yet was "How does he know all this?" 2 ways. 1. Reading every single snippet of text written in the description of every single item in the game. 2. A little bit of reading the game files which is where we get some of the guesswork about Miquella. There''s stuff in the code that isn't used in the game (and so is not considered canon) but is still informative. The way that some folks get a new weapon and go "oh cool sword" and then never look at it again? Vaati and Smough, and a few others, say "oh new sword, let's dissect the description text."

Some people find the ancestry of the demigods and their names really confusing, but I find it makes it a lot easier. Rennala has an R name, and all of her offspring are R names, Ranni, Radahn, Rykard, then Godfrey is a G name and all of his descendants have G names, Godwin, Godrick, Godefroy, with the exception of the two disowned/Omen children who have M names like Marika; Mohg and Morgott. The other characters who are direct descendants of Marika and Radagon, so essentially just Marika, have M names too, Malenia, Miquella, and (likely) our girl Melina.

My personal interpretation in the Marika/Radagon thing is that it’s a reference to alchemy. Specifically the Rebis and the Marriage of the Red King and White Queen. In Alchemy the king and queen were originally one but taken apart through putrefaction and purification only to later merge together in perfect union forming the Rebis which is depicted as a divine hermaphrodite and the result produces the Philosophers Stone.

For Marika and Radagon being one and the same, I always use 2 analogies: 1. God analogy. Like, you have the Holy Spirit, Jesus and the Father - technically 3 different entities, but according to bible, they're the same existence. 2. Pain (from Naruto) analogy. There were 6 Paths, six bodies, but in the end all of them were the Pain, the god. Since Marika, besides being a queen, sounds like this higher than life, godly figure, that's probably where the idea is from (christianity, not Naruto xD), if you ask me.

Marika involvement is not proven, it is not impossible because she was meddling too, sending Godfrey and the tarnished on their path, and searching the depth of the golden order. @@stonaraptor8196 the lore is never mentioned in any of those articles. Me and you both know you added it just to fit your narrative lmao. He has said it multiple times that what he wrote was the world building side of the game, like the family tree and "mythology". That's entirely different to writing the actual story of the game. Myazaki in a Japanese interview that was translated by Forbes said "he’s (G.R.R.M) crafted a combination of a myth, historical fiction and an epic poem." You're giving credit for something someone else did, which in this case was who ever wrote the part where "Marika plucked the rune of death and gave it to Malikath, who is her shadow". Again, most of the actual story is written by Miyazaki and his team. GRR just wrote the foundation and helped with world building. Edit: The parts that I see GRR in is when it comes to the family trees, specially with Marika and Radigon being the same person and essentially f***ing himself and having kids. Which again, goes back to the family tree and background info. Not the actual story
