Came from his master piece Hansel and Gretel and sure enough his style shows off wonderfully here.

This is really good! I only knew Humperdinck as the composer of Hansel and Gretel. What a masterful use of the string quartets timbres !

@@hiyorioh -- I thought you knew, sorry! But Humperdinck stood firmy on the shoulders of brilliant Schwäbisch polymath whose name is for some reason never mentioned anymore: Dr. rer. nat. Then you'd probably pose a 'righteous objection' to the masterpieces of the polymath Schwäbisch symphonic genius, scholar and muse, Dr. rer. nat.

Question, why does everything have to be a master piece?
@evansercombe
@evansercombe Жыл бұрын
@@bartjebartmans It doesn’t! That’s exactly my point :) Not everything has to be a stuffy, lofty, hard to understand to be enjoyable, or to make a genuine impact on someone’s life! (Personally, I find almost the entire concept of a “masterpiece” to be somewhat outdated and irrelevant to being with.)

@@evansercombe That's my approach to composition! I don't have to create perfect masterpieces that will be seen as the best 500 years from now. I just have to make cool music that I like and hopefully others find it entertaining too
