Really like the octave doubling of the piano with the violin, constantly switching above and below in the first movement. Adds a lot of "meat" to the sound without ever occluding the violin.

The second movement's main theme touchingly quotes the Romance from Mozart's third horn concerto. :)

i’m not sure but it is a group 1 piece in a competition i’m going out for (group 5 being the easiest and 1 being the most advanced)
