+waimeagavin808 yeah, a group of 4 people could do all that in an hour i guess. 2 jacks and 2 impactguns with alot of batteries and this is a piece of cake. if they used an hour they had well over 3 minutes per car. this was a srsly easy job.

As a Mechanic, you don't need to be a pro mechanic to take off some wheels LOL... Who cares anyways. That's what locking lugs and alarm SHOCK sensors are for... FFS Car companies need to improve security. They should add proximity motion and shock sensors along with audible sensors for the factory alarm to prevent theft... after all, you do pay 40K+ for a brand new truck these days the least they could do is add a few lousy sensors for security... and locking lugs. They also should've had cameras I mean come on really! hundreds of cars left without surveillance? You're just ASKING for it at that point!

This used to happen all the time back in the mid-late 90's to gm trucks up here in Ontario Canada. Back then it was not uncommon for the thieves to use firewood as blocks or just drop it right on the rotors once the wheels were off. Doesn't take more than a small crew of 3 or 4 plus a driver to accomplish what was done in the video.

Zakk Gardner You make great a good point.. but all you would need to do is leave the cinder blocks under the frame facing the road side. Also these trucks weren't up front meaning being shown on the road. They were relatively deep in the lot.. what thief would do this extra work?.. they are Pros and the only explain

@CoelhoSports
@CoelhoSports 6 жыл бұрын
easier to drop it onto blocks to get the jack out and move to the next wheel than lower the truck with the jack all the way to the pavement and pull the jack out and try to jack up the next wheel with nothing under the one you just stripped. it's not a courtesy to do it that way. it's for speed. they do it on the streets when they steel wheels all the time. if you have multiple thieves working together, one guy jacks and blocks and the others remove the lugs and wheels. another loads them in a trailer. nobody stops moving until time to go
