Como decimos en México: "¡Órale!". Bellísima pieza e interpretación además de que me gusta mucho España. Gracias por compartir tu unión a la guitarra. Disfruto mucho tus videos.

Well played, David 👏! Good choice going for the flamenco guitar on this one, it gave it that edgy grit in the bass. What flamenco strings do you use?

I just foind your channel a couple months ago and liked it very much. I did not know Calatayud before visiting your channel. Because of you (and because I am a old age begginner) I am playing Adagio and Pasodoblillo. Most of his pieces are in my range of learning and they also sound very beautiful. So thank you for that! But I have 2 questions: 1) why did you decide to play and post so many pieces from Calatayud? 2) do you plan on playing and posting pieces from other composers? Which ones? Thank you and congrats on the beautiful videos!

Hi Vincent, I am so glad to hear that you are enjoying my channel! I started recording music by Calatayud because I teach these pieces to many of my students and one of the goals of my channel is to present accessible repertoire in a beautiful way to inspire excitement in students. I will definitely be recording music by many more composers in the coming months including Tarrega, Merlin, Carcassi, Coste, Lauro, and more! Thank you agian for supporting my channel as it grows! Keep playing!

Hello David. First of all, you play very well. I play the guitar too and I can't play like you, how many years have you been playing the guitar?

Hello my friend and thank you! I have studied the classical guitar for about 20 years now, still trying to get better every day!

David, I really enjoy your interpretations of these pieces. Thank you!! I have been playing classical guitar for about a year and am working my way through Grade 2 of Classical Guitar Corner Academy. I’ve already learned Catalayud’s Vals and Romanza. Which pieces would you recommend next for a beginner like me? This piece, for example, does not look too technically difficult. Any others you would recommend?
