Also, That Shinryu's Arrant Calamity Ultimate attack part, Not only Bartz can block and safe himself, it basically stop the entire attack, that's why Golbez in front of me didn't get hit.

And THAT is why characters only have one HP Attack at a time (Except for Vaan), imagine if Bartz had access to Knight to defend against everything and another attack to be able to go on the offensive in the same fight, it'd be ridiculous!

Earthen Eruption cannot block HP Attacks though, as far as I know, unlike Knight which is pretty much an absolute perfect defense once mastered.

FlippeR FlappeR it’s easier to do against marksman since they give you a little bit more time to react to the attack. But also with characters that can continue an attack without hitting like Sephiroth. You just gotta get good at timing it, you definitely can mess up and miss...happens to me all of the time lol

SuccessfulMentality but a lot of times you would also get an attack which you don't even see until you...well until you take it. Paying attention to when your opponent gonna attack your team and where must be super hard.

Rapid Fire Like Necromancer , but I think Bartz is the type of guy who prefers using spellblades than everything else. In FFRK , he is the Spellblade King , along with Celes as the Queen of Spellblade . 'Cause Bartz can hit alot of enemy weakness and has a chance of 7x cast spellblade, while Celes can absorb enemy attack with her Spellblade.

It needs precise timing and can get you killed online if you don't time it well. Also, since you can't equip another HP attack, you're pretty much forced to be defensive outside of bravery attacks. You can't damage someone unless they attack you.

Not sure if it's true or not, but for Shinryu bullet hell attack, just going under him seems to make the attack useless. Also been using Cecil (specifically, Dark Knight) because of his range for Summon battle

I've done it. I can give you my party comp if you want. I used: Y'shtola/Ultimecia/Ace. My story level is 10 and my AI is Diamond rank. (farm core battles with Y'shtola to rank up faster) My Ex Skill set-up consisted of Mighty Strikes and Rend Shield. Use those at the same time and then follow up with Y'shtolas Virus attack for truckloads of DPS. (Everybody gets 6k+ Bravery within seconds). I recommend saving that combo until right at the beginning of a phase transition since your BRV won't be reset after that and you can just go ham during a stagger. Although, I think it just depends on how well you do at staying alive and performing mechanics. I only lost one life, and every Summon battle was at least sub 5 minutes except for Shinryu which I took my time on. Good luck!

Got a question that's not really related to this video. So during a gauntlet match, both my team and the other team was down to one health, and WOL on the other team uses ultimate shield hp attack against one of my AI teammates. I tried to break him out of his hp attack using sephiroth's blade beams, they hit and take away his bravery, but he doesn't stagger and continues his attack, which caused him to kill my AI teammate. I later looked up his hp attack, and nothing states that it can endure bravery attacks without staggering. Are there other hp attacks that have this kind of durability? Is it limited to vanguards' only? Can these attacks also endure physical bravery attacks (not just projectiles)?

I'm pretty sure any Combo HP attack, the one with multiple hit such as WOL's ultimate shield, Kain's Fang and Claw, Bartz's Dancer, Sephy's Octaslash, etc.(Three hit attacks like Cloud's Cross Slash, and Ramza's Enervate are not count) will have very high poise, they can still take damage, but they will not stagger by bravery attack, But you can stop it with any HP attack. There are one of the tutorial in game that talk about this Firion's Vortex of Arms count too. The special case for this is Cloud's Omnislash when he activate Limit break, which will make him completely invincible.

Does this tactic work for all HP counters? If so, Vaan is actually OP against summon bosses. He can counter all attacks and, when the boss is down, deal damage.

Only Bartz's Knight and Exdeath's Omni Block can counter HP attack. So Vaan's Earthen Eruption can only block bravery attack, but nothing else. Really Vaan is basically a Glass Cannon in Summon battle

You have to make them go down first to deal HP damage, Basically, it's almost impossible to hit them with Counter HP attack. (Out of 1000 what not counter I use, I think I've only land 2 of them)

Not actually abuse it, Using share bravery with any Counter HP attack is extremely common. But it still need a good coordination most of the time. So more of a niche build than anything.

I mained bartz & the attack is good because people love to spam HP Attacks but the fact that he cant kill the players who know about it makes it not reliable in the high ranks, i got meta gamed so hard once i had to switch to WoL because he has a better version with his Bitter End HP Attack

Rakim Jefferson nah to work around that you have to really just wait and watch. When they know you have the knight HP attack they like to wait a second before they attack or until you finish using the move. You can use that to your advantage by using his bravery attacks, they have pretty good range as well. But I think WoL is a good pick too lol
