Baryon mode would have been better if it was Kurama activating the 8th Gate, instead of that bullshit nuclear fusion thing. It would have served the same purpose: 1. Insane powerup that can kill gods 2. Limited time 3. User (Kurama) dies - Kurama can lie here too and tell Naruto itll take both of em out. This would have been better for many reasons, including the fact that: 1. It wouldnt be an asspull that came out of nowhere. 2. The gates are a well established thing in the original story. 3. We already know what opening the 8th gate does. We've seen what it can accomplish with Guy Sensei vs Jubidara. 4. Itll be a memorable callback to one of the most peak moments (Guy vs Jubidara) from the original series. 5. Kurama wouldnt need to explain how it works while he's about to be killed off for good since neither Naruto or the audience would need an explanation. The moment Kurama mentions opening the 8th gate like "remember what that bushy-brow guy did during the war against Jubidara?" Naruto AND the audience would immediately know what was about to happen without any further explanation. The explanation took so much away from the emotional intensity of the moment. Like how many of us was wondering how Kurama knew about nuclear fusion.

I know Kurama is a Bijuu so maybe he doesnt have the gates as shinobi does. But they can just easily say that its the Bijuu equivalent of the 8 gates

What if Guy Sensei was the 9 Tails Jinchuriki, and he and Kurama both activates the 8th gate at the same time VS all of the Otsutsukis from Naruto/Boruto series lol

@@n.6847 Yeah that's a nice idea, the main problem is footage, nobody wants to watch a boring video, and in these imaginary cases the only thing I can show at max is images that suit the story, and images are boring, so the video might not be interesting for most people.

Baryon mode is so overrated, even so6p was stronger than kcm 2, isshiki seriously only had 10-30% while fighting baryon and he still defeated him. It’s not worth having baryon mode at all, this proved why sasuke and Naruto aren’t even in the top 10 in boruto manga
