Tudo de bom que se falar dessa grande personalidade da dança no mundo é a pura verdade, pois Deus só faz uma pessoa de cada vez, e ñ repete...

Thank you for adding this part too! I used to have this on VHS but gave it away. I was wishing I still had it and was so excited when your first post of it was put up. Thank you again!

I agree. Very wise decision to choose Shirley MacLaine as interviewer/narrator. Love this documentary. I watch it over and over again.

@ 01:53 it is the PAIN that moves him, then. A truly, fully happy and contented person is not what makes passion and power like that. The pain is the inception of the passion. That melancholy sadness, it is the essence, the "juice." Music is naught without the dissonance to resolve, and thus pain is the creation of beauty. The light excitement he exudes is a fire that consumes the pain fuel - the more it feeds, the hotter it grows, bright enough to birth a star

Balanchine impression...OMG. LOL!

It was wise to get MacLaine to host this. The two are very good friends as they worked together on "Turning Point." They had long discussions about ballet as MacLaine spent her childhood studying ballet, wanting to be a ballerina. They... kind of make a good match, don't they? This is back when Misha was running ABT. It was a glorious period in the company's history. Without question. Look at him doing "Le Corsaire"... even better than Rudi did. --Giving A Standing Ovation, Dane Youssef

Is there any way to post the rest of this? It's an inspirational video, but I don't have access to a VHS. =/
