Interesting point of view. I like the historian point of view and considering The French Revolution. Human rights and human rights violation. The Philippines it could be argued has violated human rights. western origin of human rights may not sit easy with Eastern attitudes of human rights. One should not dictate to another. The situation in The Pilipinas is complex. There are many issues to consider. I believe this is a new era for The Pilipinas. I would like to think of it as a renaissance where filipinas will be able to find their true identity and even if that means they may need to change the name of the country, then so be it. We know that terrorism and disorder is fuelled and financed by the drug lords, so PDU30 is right to put in place such strict measures and hit the pockets of the corrupt and criminals. I believe we will see a more stable country by the end of this great President's tenure. To heck with The EU, USA, UN and Human Rights interference. What is best for the Philippines is to deal firmly with the many drug issues thus hitting the drug barons in the pocket and in turn reducing their support to terrorists. Criminality would also be reduced.

the human right of one person is limited by another's. I do not believe there is absolute human right. Dapat parati compromise so everyone can enjoy a certain degree of human right. For example, in the case of libel, it is right to expression versus whatever right there is involved with dignity.

Napaka relevant ng human rights sa bawat pilipino, kung ang isang kriminal nga eh may karapatan din. Pero ano nga ba ang argumento sa video ? Yung pagsilip nga ba ng isang foreign human rights watch at pag tanggi ng relevance nila mula sa isang government official o yung pagparatang sa gobyerno ng ilang tao na may malalang violation of human rights at dapat itong labanan ? Lagi naman nagkakaroon ng violation of human rights dahil walang perpektong estado o mundo, ang tanong dito ano ba ang agenda sa pagpuna laban sa ginagawa ng gobyerno ngayon ? Di kaya dahil sa taliwas ito sa interes ng mga Narco politicians at deug lords, at dahil sa may napatunayan na nagkasala at nakulong kaya binabatikos ang anti drug campaign pagkat natatakot na silang mabunyag ? O baka naman dahil sa dami ng mga napatay pagkat sila ay nanlaban mula sa mga awtoridad na tagapagpatupad ng batas, ginigiit na EJK ngunit walang sino man ang makapagbigay ng konkretong ebidensya ?
