I know you have a background in JCI, how does JCI get away with away with having multiple devices with a Device ID of 1 (same MS/TP Trunk)? It seems there is no issue on the NCE/NAE but as soon as we put a JACE on the network, we cannot discover the controller. It seems like JCI doesn't play by the BACnet rules

So it all depends on how the device is mapped in. Are you taking over a MS/TP trunk or are you mapping everything thru IP so you're discovering the NAE and it's field devices.

Can you cover BACnet over ARCNET integration? I feel like this is a huge integration gray area in the field
