during the 80's and 90's when even top models use to come without Stereo system across all car brands and we always fitted them with Stereo system from outside. Even our 1994 maruti 800 had stereo fitted from our, my 2010 wagon r had stereo fitted from outside, lakhs of car owners had their stereo fitted from outside, and it never had any such issue fire issue.

I had STOCK creta E model, Petrol bought in 2018 for 10.5 lakhs, i kept it stock as i dint needed music system , i was happy with stock one with BLE controls on base model itself. And when I sold few months back, I got 7.25 L value... that is like 70% of the car value driven for 5 years. So I feel get a base model which has simple BLE based music system and good enough lights. That should be enough for car.

Honda has closed its many 4 wheeler showroom around major cities in chhattisgarh. And majorly I got to know from various Honda city ans maze customers that their service is bad here and local garages/service shops don't have Honda spare parts in case of emergencies as I tour alot of remote places. BTW for metro cities its a fantastic Suv Go for it don't even think of Kia or Creta.

Base model kisi bhi gaadi ka le lo, unless you want to show off. At least for me what's important is space and ac. All cars have these in the base model. Far as other things go, Eg Steel wheels are stronger than alloy wheels so unless you want to show off, alloys are not important.
