The Michael Morse one at 4:17 was because they initially ruled the ball was in play and he got tagged out but upon review it was a home run. Because replay changed it to be a home run he had to redo the at bat and round the bases so they put everybody back on their bases and Morse had an at bat without the bat and he faked the swing and then rounded the bases to score it a grand slam home run.

4:21 The ball hit a spot in the stadium where it is deemed a HR, but the umpires called it a double live. They reviewed it, and corrected the call to a HR, so to make sure the runners all touched the correct bases, they made the batter act out the swing.

Honestly, those wild pitches by Rick Ankiel were just sad to watch. I am a huge Braves and remember watching that game. You were literally watching his pitching career end. Funny enough he actually did have a bit of a resurgence as an outfielder with the Braves and a few other teams. Just tough to see such a talented individual struggle with something he has done for most of his life.

7:35 the lead runner, was caught in a run down, so he retreats to his original base, the trail runner is standing on said base, but 2 runners can’t occupy the same base. The defense tags both, but only the trail runner is out, because it was the lead runners original base. Unaware of the situation, the lead runner (deemed safe) runs all the way back to 1st base.

If the player on second gets caught in a pickle but makes it back to their base, the player on first has to go back to, you can’t run past the person on base in front of you.
