Noah Lee is my son. Definitely cannot give you unbiased opinion. He has committed to play for the University of Texas, and a few MLB teams have evaluated him at area code tryouts, pro tryouts at Minute Maid, and different events at Rangers stadium. I have no experience to evaluate his potential, I just know he is a great son.

Just keep putting in the time and make sure he does not form too many bad habits. I took Noah to some good instructors by the time he was 12 so I did not screw him up as I have no significant baseball hitting knowledge..

I agree. I think these vids are great for tracking potential. I wouldn't focus on any of the criticism on here. Focus on the positive. You have excellent Pop Speed for a 16 yr old. Your batting stance looks textbook and comfortable. Your hands stay back, and you flow through the ball well. I was impressed by your footwork in the cage. You have "quiet feet" in the box that really let you uncoil on the ball and generate balanced torque, while not sacrificing plate coverage. J.Reyes type of swing

Great looking kid.. All looks good and I like ur hands that high allows them to go direct to the ball. I also like ur quiet front foot and that u get it all the way down planted before u make contact !!!! Looks like u work hard and love the game ...Look forward to seeing where u sign in the future...Good luck and God Bless ....If u have some time look at my sons videos he has just turned 7 but in most of them he was 6. Let me know what u think

A couple things weaken your argument. Hamilton is a left handed hitter, so going the other way means hitting it to left field. Lefty hitters have that advantage; their swings naturally take the ball to the right side, so they never really need to worry about going opposite field. It's always better to hit it to the right side, especially with guys on base. Jeter, he's never up there swinging for the fences. His compact stroke makes him the great gap hitter that he is

Good mechanics. Looks very smooth fielding and hitting. The only problem I have is with the pitching machine, don't rely too heavily on them. Because of the fact it's the same speed with no off speed or breaking pitches and your timing will mess up against live pitching. I play at the D1 level and we hit tees, soft toss, and live pitch/cage BP twice a day everyday.

You have a great swing with very quick hands. You also get the bat head out front good as well. One thing I did see you should work to change (or stop doing) is during your fielding exercise in the parking lot you were flipping your glove or rolling your glove over right before going down to field the ground ball. Keep your glove out front & ready to field instead of rolling it over. Other than that... Great job kid, Keep up your hard wok!

I am a content contributor to "Chicago White Sox Nation". My personal facebook page a few minutes ago. A really slow day, as I am watching high school catcher promo videos. Noah Lee, kid out of Texas, any of my Texas friends have any more on him? His video is pretty solid, ++ arm and nice contact while batting. He has zero stride in the batter's box but has excellent bat speed. Once he develops a plate presence as a hitter, this kid will be pretty good, as he is a solid contact hitter already.

When you put a colon in between two sets of numbers it means minutes:seconds, like shown in the video. If you put a perios in between two numbers, say 2.07, that is referring two seconds and tenths, hundredths of seconds. Learn something before you try to come at me bro.

He was trying to make the throw to 2nd and the ball was fouled off if you ever see a catcher jump up like that (someone is trying to steal 2nd base) that OR odds are theres a runner on 1st and (Maybe) 2outs i know my team would steal with a runner on 1st full count no matter how many outs hope that kind of helped

This kid is alright, but I don't see why he has over 51,000 views. I have been to many showcases and seen a lot of recruiting videos. Some of these videos only have 150 views and look better than this kid. That being said he has a real sweet swing and a nice pop time. From one baseball player to another keep your head up and never think your second to anyone. The minute you think other players are better than you is when you fall behind. Best of luck buddy.

This is just my opinion, but if I were a scout I would want to see game footage. Get your mom or dad to film all your At Bats and if possible to film you defensively during the game as well. And then take the highlights and make a 5 minute video. Could probably get a computer savvy person at your high school to put it together for you. Good luck
