The bread joke has to do with the word for bread in "japanese" (and a lot of latin languages, since the japanese borrowed it) "Pan". So panda would choose bread because "pan". The point of the joke is just that they ran out of ideas and they're even using the same animations from the previous Juju Stroll. Panda also wants to punch a zebra because when people think of a black and white animal many will think of the zebra. So I'm guessing they're rivals...

Btw hanami isn't weak, hanami is just more durable. Jogo is stronger than hanami in terms od offence but he would've definitely be killed within 4 black flash rather ever other cursed spirit(who have weak endurance even if they are special grade) would have died in 4 black flash. For eg. Eso and Kechizu wear almost killed be one black flash only if it hit on the right spot they would have died.
