Amazing vid fellas. Glad to hear the guys at Victus are still supporting the community. I had the pleasure of getting involved with them back when they got started and they were EXTREMELY generous to me and my team. Definitely worth supporting. Will - if you are leaning towards something that performs well off the end of the bat - you should play around with different bat cupping. Full, half, kiss and no cup will definitely adjust the feel of each bat. Maybe even worth another video to explain what cupping does to a wood bat. The more information on wood the easier it will be to make that informed decision. So glad you guys are still exploring wood... and I’m hoping JT gets a crack at the next one!

I love the barrel of a 243, but the end load is hard to get going & stop if needed. I prefer the 271. I think it is the best of barrel & balance. I feel a 110 just doesn't have the balls for any power. Now all that said, it is bat speed not size/weight that makes a difference. Also, as you said the quality of the wood makes a big difference too. I just seem to swing better, more consistent & faster with the 271.

He definitely does, but the double A guy is definitely a more refined hitter. Every ball he hit was a laser. Even the ones he hit out were more or less line drives whereas JT is more of a fly or die type of hitter. Meaning he’s either gonna kill the ball, or fly out.

10:14 really good point by trace. I made a mistake with getting a 271 that had a flared knob. I got the tatis and I love it. It has the perfect endload and swing weight, there’s a little knob at the end which is almost like the no-knob type of bats but it doesn’t disrupt my approach at the plate. It feels great and the juice off the barrel is insane. This was the first victus I’ve ever purchased and also the victus Julio Rodriguez one is good too, but there’s something about the tatis that feels good in my hands and swing at the plate.

I swung a JC24 and hit ropes. These are the most solid bats I've ever swung and I swung every brand. The sound and feel are amazing. Tucci BH34 is a close 2nd.

Personally I love my 271 turn Tucci. From label to end it hits nukes. Ps. Never seen a 271 without a flared knob but that might just be what I’m used to...but you May have mixed up your description of the 271 and 110... 271 is more end loaded and the 110 is more balanced due to the wider handle, both have same barrel width so more weight at end of 271...

A lot of players use the 271 such as Corey Seager and Ken griffey jr., M110 is used by Alex Bregman notably, the i13 is used by Manny Machado, and the 243 is used by Kris Bryant & Cody Bellinger

I'm a bit surprised that you've never made a video about beechwood bats. I know it isn't a common type of timber in the US, but some MLB players use beechwood bats. I read somewhere that Louisville Slugger even tried beechwood for a potential new line, and got very good results in terms of performance and durability, but their subject players disliked the sound, so the company didn't pursue it in the end. There are other manufacturers that use it, though, such as Axe and Yaya. I live in Central Europe and here beechwood is easy to find and cheap. I make my own bats out of beech in the traditional way, with a lathe and hand tools. It would be great if you could get one pure beechwood bat and try it in one of your videos.

in my opinion it really depends on your body type, strength and style if your a 5'9" contact hitter, a 110 may be the best for getting it around and making contact if your a 6'5" power hitter, a 243 may be more your alley its really just whats right for you, theres no single best

My dad and I have watched videos about the meta but we don't don't know which one to get it you could please do the 33/30 version of both😁.
