My son is playing in his Jr year of H/S (playoffs start this afternoon). He swung the Meta for the first 2 season and hit well. This season he made the change to the Atlas and has jumped up in average quite a bit. He's been working out & quite a bit stronger so it's tough to tell. The biggest difference is on mishits. He's getting base hits this season (whereas last year balls off the end of the Meta would be caught for outs -- especially oppo over 2B).

I've got a 33.5 bonesaber and 34 atlas. Tend to prefer the Atlas. The consistency is just marvelous-- getting the barrel around and through is just buttery smooth with perfect control. The Bonesaber sometimes has my best smacks, but it's a more unique swing. That's what I tend to tell people. Given the similarities, I wouldn't want to get used to the unique Bonesaber knob. Either way you're killing baseballs, but only one of them has a more translatable swing.

I am a freshman in hs and I swing a 32 bonesaber hybrid and I have had it for about a year now and once you get used to the handle it is the best bat on the market. Early when I had it people didn't know about it but know almost every game I go to I see one. The pop is crazy when you get a perfect barrel it feels like a USSSA but off the end it can be very dead but hands its juice I have hit balls to the fence that are jamming me and off the end so its really preference.

Will I think its time for you to add a pitcher to the variables, a couple of guys who are good with throw Fast Balls and Off speed pitches between 75-95 mph which is the range most guys not signed by MLB will see. Bring real life real word conditions to this type of test to see how you guys do. Also for the benefit of the crowd try it without calling for the type of pitches and instead do it like in a real game scenario where you guys dont know what pitch is actually coming.

My son couldn’t control the bonesaber we changed his icon to the saber knob and he’s hit his first 4 bombs of his baseball life in his first 15 at bats in his highschool junior year. It’s crazy how that knob turned his icon into his missle 2 bat speed and consistency with contact. They need a bonesaber with a traditional handle and let the consumers choose their preference.

Amazing how big a difference a knob change can make. We put a Lizard Skin taper on my son's Stinger Guardian (made it more like the Bonesaber knob), and it immediately sent his bat speed higher. For some players, that big taper just creates more leverage.

Will you guys ever test out the Easton J-Bat? It is made of graphite/carbon composite. It was a late 80’s/early 90’s bat. It’s different than the ceramic bat but just as obscure a bat as it. I saw one on eBay, a 33” drop 3. I’ve always wondered how they hit the ball.
