I’ve been away myself so only just catching up with your latest vlog. Once more, stunning cinematography Nick. Harlech Castle has such an imposing location which you highlight perfectly from the air. Your video has inspired me to make a long awaited return to Harlech and the area. My late wife and I plus a number of friends spent a wonderful week there about 20 years ago! As ever, looking forward to your next Basecamp Adventure 👍🏴

@@MarkN67 thank you again. I really appreciate that. I’m just reviewing the video and cursing myself for all the mistakes in it which I missed in the editing. 🫣😂

@@FlyCampCaravanNorthWales don’t worry about it, the only one I noticed was the one on the audio when you were talking about the stone circle, far too many pluses to worry about a negative.

Thank you Nick for another beautiful vlog. For me, the colours and the whole ‘sounds’ presentation were, simply gorgeous! Definitely a place to add to the ever growing list of future breaks. As always, thank you. You are a true inspiration 🏴

Thanks for the feedback especially on the audio. I carry a portable sound recorder with me and I record the sounds I can hear in each scene and drop that over each clip in the editing. It’s a lot of extra work but does make the difference so it’s great that viewers notice it🙂. Except for the drone, I record all of the content on an iPhone 15 pro max which is great for the video but doesn’t pick up the sounds of the surrounding nature that well.

@@FlyCampCaravanNorthWales While I have always thoroughly enjoyed and looked forward to your videos, the last 2/3 have been, quite simply awesome? The last vlog's graphics seemed to just be so enhanced, then on this video, the sound jumps out? I was going to add that the Welsh Tourist Board ought to be thanking you every time you post, but there are several other tourist boards that should also be supporting you! You are now quite the BC celebrity Nick and really thoroughly deserved - thank you for the time you spend preparing these vlogs.

@@DavidEastonLondonDL the enhanced video you’ve observed is because I’ve upgraded from an iPhone 12 mini to the iPhone 15 Pro Max. This new phone is a film makers tool so again it’s great to hear back that the video quality has been recognised 🙏. The camera system on it is fantastic.

Another stunning Vlog Nick i’ve been looking at the Harlech area for our summer stay next year. Im going need to pick your brains in a couple of months about sites. I also looked at Aberafone on the Llyn peninsula also but im looking for fully serviced pitches. Stunning scenery around Harlech and that castle looks amazing unfortunately its one of Longshanks castles but its still stunning. Your aerial shots are awesome by the way. Keep them coming mate 👌🏻👍🏻🏴🏴

Ive just rewatched this excellent Vlog Nick and at the end your TV aerial was still up when you left the CL. I hope it was ok when you got home. I saw a basecamp going through Strathyre a few weeks ago and the aerial was at a funny angle.

@@johnstewart2507 good spot John. I leave it like that permanently. The reason is I found the ariel was vibrating against the skylight when towing and also was causing the skylight and ariel to discolour with dirt. I keep it about 1/3 up.

Nick. Can I ask what you use to keep the grey mouldings on your BC looking so good please? It seems to be a fairly common thing for them to fade and discolour, but yours always look so good?

Thank you Nick. Your efforts always pay off so well, as your BC looks like brand new, always. Others on the FB pages have recommended the same product, so now ordered mine. Can’t wait for the next vlog Nick - I’ve taken to rewatching all of the previous episodes now and surprising how much I missed, first time round. Here in Kent, you have a fanbase. I recently met two different people, who follow your work. Please keep going ❤
