Es gibt tatsächlich eine Nachbarschaftsbewegung in Basel, die das Tattoo abschaffen will. Gründe reichen von Lärmbelästigung bis zu Volksverscheckung (auf grund des Patrouille Suisse Fluges)...Solche Menschen versteh ich nicht...Als Kulturstadt darf man so ein Event nicht verbieten...Ich für meinen Teil fühle mich nicht gestört. Und bin stolz drauf dass es so ein Event in meiner Stadt gibt

jean-claude schwartz mucho... más no sea porque yo no comprendo nada y vivo en suiza :) Se fuera una lengua normal que puedes aprender por ti mismo, pero todas las putas ciudades tienen una versión diferente y como no tienen una versión escrita es cuasi imposible aprender por mi mismo.

I love tattoos. You get to see a plethora of different styles from a lot of different countries. Though, I will say that musically, the Blue Devils were on another level. They sounded amazing!

Der Kommentator hier im Video ist geradezu eine Wohltat an Grammatik, denn er spricht an sich einwandfreies deutsch. Da bevorzuge ich sein Baslerdütsch doch immer ! :D

Excuse my ignorance, fellas, but I have a question. What is the significance of the "apron" or tassel (for lack of a better description) with the emblem on it that is draped from the belt at the front of the kilt? Does that signify rank, position, or maybe clan? I notice that most of them differ somewhat and I am curious.

In response, It's not an apron it's called a sporran. I believe it was used as a kind of purse to hold baubee's(coins) or dried oats (porridge) No doubt one of my English nieghbours will tell me it was invented by an Englishman. Everything else on the sporran is just decoration.
