Definitely go into detail on the Baby Pac rebuild. Have one rescued in my garage and I think I keep putting off that project knowing I need to rebuild that play field. Keep up the great work as always.

Wow, congrats guys, that's an awesome arcade! I would vote for whatever the "surprise" cab is (if that's a Zoo Keeper then that is really awesome!), followed by the jamma switcher stuff on the candies. Pole Pos would be cool, Baby Pac also. Heck, any stuff you guys put up I'll check out...it's all good. Thanks for the update.

I want to see more Old Game Look Forers! haha Actually, I would love to see smaller how-to videos. I need to completely overhaul my Tekken 3 arcade; I know electronics, but I don't know much about arcades themselves. So, I would like to learn more about jamma, power, monitors, LED mods... that kind of thing. Also, I wanted to check out your DJ gear haha... I haven't spun wax in years (because a pair of 1200's is so freaking expensive), I play using controllers these days. Right now I have a Novation Twitch and an Akai APC 20 on Serato and Ableton. Anyways, excited to see more videos are on the way from you guys...

Is that a wireless access point above Killer Instinct? Awesome to have the low-down on all the machines and see the garage. Even some low/no edit of fixing a cab would be cool. Hey guys, fairly new to the channel but love the videos and love arcades, it's really exciting to see your basement grow like that! I was wondering, what is the ultimate goal, is it purely fun and reliving your childhood in your own basement like that, or would you like to eventually have everything in a state to officially open it, as perhaps the last ever real arcade open to the general public and maybe recoup some of the money you've spent over the years on the machines :D?
@thedentist8889 жыл бұрын
I like watching you go for the cabinets, but I'm glad you're getting more into repair videos. I would love to see the Galaga repair. Keep up the great work. Also, what is the system you're hooking up to the Candy Cab?

I know this is a late comment on this video, but I'd love to see a couple of videos on how you restored/fixed both the Galaga and Pac-Man arcades. Also the Baby Pac and gator pinball hybrids. Galaga and Pac-Man are the two most available arcade machines for people to purchase, restore, and fix, so I'm sure you would get a lot of views on this se videos. Keep up the good work y'all. Tell NESComplex we miss him on KZbin.

Very nice tour! Something goofy is happening with my Monitor for my Simpsons Arcade machine. It worked fine when we first got it then I didn't play for 5 months. We boot it up and it looks like the lights on the screen are out or something.
@cdamm19639 жыл бұрын
+Midwest Retro Gamers is it dim? or is it missing a color?
@MRGRetroEric9 жыл бұрын
I had to lower the brightness so it could be somewhat playable. Its not missing color its just a lightness darkness thing
@cdamm19639 жыл бұрын
+Midwest Retro Gamers first thing i would do is check the voltage and make sure the power is where it should be (thats quick and easy and there is a bunch of tutorial videos out there). next i would check the caps on the monitor- when they go it could cause issues like you are talking about. if they are leaking they could eat away at the chassis and then you are either screwed or in jumper cable hell trying to make it work again.
@electricadventures9 жыл бұрын
The arcade is looking awesome guys, you definitely have quite a wide selection of machines! Two Robotrons!! You bastards :) That Space War does look like a pretty cool game, especially with it being two players of course. But I still couldn't live without at least an Asteroids Deluxe. I still have to figure out how I am going to fit one of those in somewhere - may have to go a cocktail I reckon. Those Candy Cabs really are nice machines. And here's me only up to my 2nd cabinet :) I am doing a complete control board custom build, coming along nicely now. And it's going to have a 2 Jamma with Neo Geo one slot on one side and a jamma to PC with Mame on the other side. With the 161-in-1 Neo Geo cartridge will give me the best of both worlds, plus of course I can change to a single MVS cartridge easily as well. Just don't have the space (or allowed space from the wife :)) to have more than the two stand up cabs. If the 2 jamma works, may look at getting one for the vertical cabinet as well and also rebuilding the control panel for that one as well, adding spinners, and a track ball (if I can work out the spacing). My one original cabinet will hopefully be that Taito cocktail with Tutankham in it.

Hey guys I'm local Arcade collector from Milwaukee. I have a few machines myself and I fabricate bartop cabinets in my garage. How do you adjust the geometry and calibrate the image on PVM 14m4u screen? My image needs to be shifted to the side but can't find a way to do it. I couldn't even figure out how to take the monitor apart. Do you know of a separate calibration unit I can attach? Thanks in advanced!
