That is just amazing. such a nice space for a workshop which is what I'd do with at least part of it. but I'm a maker of things. I'd be building furniture for the house for one. All the work so far is just great.

For the basement, if haven't already, I would rough in an area for plumbing for an bathroom. Looks great!

Thank you so much for the feedback. Yeah we have plans to put a bathroom down there and have a living space for guests. We are probably gonna have to do septic because it’s below street level that will be a little bit further down the road as they say an Italian piano piano.

I bought a dehumidifier for a couple of hundred euros on Amazon and I use it in the downstairs, they called my cellar a cantina. It has worked for the last 5 years.

We learned quickly that cantina is the translation for cellar, so I sometimes use them interchangeably. Our plan, when all is said and done, is to have the basement and cantina as habitable places that should not require any special dehumidifier. At this point, all options are open though. Thanks!

@@cerchiamo yes, I'm sure I watched the video when you first got the house. I take my hat off to people like you. It's difficult enough doing these renovation to a house you live in, I can't even imagine what's it like travelling to another country and doing it there.
