Thanx for the updates. Don't think will be much working on it till next autumn now. Have you been to Pescara beaches etc?

Thanks for the update on this ongoing bridge project. That four-span bridge with a concrete foundation should handle flood surges or scouring. When it is finished, it will be a very nice-looking bridge! I look forward to your next flyover.

Thank you so much and for the feedback! Yeah, I think that’s gonna be a beautiful bridge. In fact that rundown house that I pointed out or probably become a nice place again one day with that bridge there it’s gonna be a great addition to the community with minimal impact to the environment

@cerchiamoАй бұрын
Good morning! Thank you for watching! Everyone’s experience is a little different. Because we bought it from the US, our agent worked with a notaio she uses for paperwork and closing. We had to give her the power the buy on our behalf. If you need work and require a geometra, your agent may be able to make a recommendation. We are looking forward to hearing about your purchase! I now see how us Canadians are deprived by the cost here Oil olive 4 euros! We are being exhorted 17 bucks up to 56 dollars. Also much much more choices and varieties. !! Of pasta. We have a very limited amount of pasta! I guess Italy doesn’t want to export any pasta to Canada 🇨🇦. How sad how we are so controlled in Canada even for Alcohol is a government monopoly 😮

So, I’m new to your channel. This is the 2nd video of yours that I’ve watched. Can I ask, did you buy one home to live in and one home to renovate to move into later? Because the last video I watched, you’d just had the steps and back foundation fixed and you had no windows. But this house has windows.
@cerchiamoАй бұрын
Thank you for watching. We only bought one house. We know it looks different even with minor repairs. The front of the house is at street level with no exposed stone. It is a beautiful place that always amazes us.

We live in Saint Pete! We are in the process of retiring and moving to the Abruzzo region as well! I thoroughly, thoroughly enjoy your videos! Not only are you American, but you’re even in the same state in the US! is there any chance that I can speak with you about housing costs? I’ve been told that lately as soon as sellers hear that there’s an American interested in a house they jack up the price. I’ve also heard that there are no appraisals there so the prices are all over the place. How close are you to retiring? I’m 62 and my boyfriend is 63…. We hope to be there within the next two years. When that happens, I would love to connect with you guys!
@cerchiamo2 ай бұрын
That sounds fantastic. You’re gonna love it there. Our experience was pretty straightforward. We actually negotiated the price lower when we bought our house. It’s a little different as far as the houses are listed over there. They’re not just listed with one real estate agent. So if you make an offer, you don’t know if somebody else is making an offer at the same time.there are so many great values out there. We really recommend going to visit this website.: www.abruzzoruralproperty.com Monia is wonderful and helped with everything and speaks English!

This is your neighbor on 2 continents; I had to laugh; we had the same pink tiles in our bathroom as well with the same set up, those tiles are from early 70's from the boxes I found. Be sure to get cabinets incorporated into the design and I would suggest a free- standing tub, it will make the room look bigger. If this is not your master bath, leave the tub out and go for a bigger shower with some water features. Don't forget the water heaters are not like what we have in FL and to fill the tub it will be working overtime; you may consider not placing one? Enjoy the project!

Love the design! super modern...even though you have more room without the bidet, consider what it would look like with it in there. It was a hard choice for us, but we added it. Perhaps with the washing machine out, it might work. Can't wait to see what you do with the room!
@cerchiamo3 ай бұрын
Thank you. It is still just a rough draft. There will definitely be some changes that we can’t wait to see!

Great job! The room looks comfortable. Any consideration of using the metal bed frame that came with the old bed (if it did) and just buying the mattress? That's what we did in all of our bedrooms. Hope to have you guys over one of these days fr a glass of wine (or beer). : )
@cerchiamo3 ай бұрын
Thank you for the feedback! We did end up using the old bedframe in the master bedroom. The one in the guest bedroom wasn’t in the best condition. Also, we wanted a longer bed. The regular beds in Italy are a little bit shorter so we got the new bed frame. A glass of wine or a beer sounds great! We look forward to it!
