You lighten up my day! I listen to your videos as I’m working, cleaning, driving. Today I’m working on wood engraving serving trays that I built. I did flowers on one and now I’m working on a large bumble bee! Your basement looks great and the switching of the furniture flows nicely too! I’m going to try that pasta recipe tonight as well. 😊

Hi Jodi, WOW you did a great job in your basement! I think it's good to rearrange you furniture! I did it when I was able to! Now I can't, I can't walk very well! But I used to love to do that! It helps to see the difference, like putting new furniture in there. You could put some of those couch covers on them downstairs! I know it doesn't need it, but just to change the color scheme! That would really make a difference! Also to put up any pics of your kids or their art work like Donna Jean has. Then also when the grandkids start making things you'd like to keep too! There's those frames where they open up & you can change the items everyday once a week or whenever you want. Then take a pic of them & throw it away or not! I wish I could of done that with my 4kids. I know you can make pics & other things online, etc. But I like the real things I can touch & do with what I want. I really love the way you did the basement! Donna Jean & Clarke were so cute, now that's a video to keep & make some still pics from it, to show her them in a couple years, that'll be fun! I know you truly love your animals even the squirrels & birds. When you love on both the kitties! Some u-tubers have animals in their videos but don't even say anything to their animals. I think it's says a lot about them! Especially now with so many animals suffering because of those fires in California. It's horrible to watch! I wish could take all them in. I all ready donate to animals shelters! We're on a Senior bugget! So have a great week & take care! ❤️😉🫂🐾🦋🌹📓✏️🎨🖌🇺🇲✨️

Once again, your basement looks great! I loved Donna Jean’s little snowman and her playing with Charlie. Hubby & I have been working on once-a-year chores I. e.: ALL bed linens washed; cleaning ceiling fans; filing papers & purging filing cabinet & shredding; touch-up painting in bathrooms, washing walls & baseboards. it usually takes us 2 months to do it all then for the rest of the year, it’s just maintenance house keeping.❤️

You should make a gallery wall of Donna’s art work in th e basement!! If you don’t want to put holes in your walls use command strips!!
@adriennenelson75911 сағат бұрын
Command Strips are the best. Dollar Tree even has knock off ones now. Just make sure they are the ones that say removable.

In one of your bedroom cleaning videos you said 'the time was going to pass anyway' before. In that video you were talking about weight loss and people losing weight during the panorama and how people used that time and the phrase 'the time was going to pass anyways' as a mindset to do it... since then that phrase has been stuck in my head. This year though, it's become my mindset. I'm using it to change my life. I'm turning 40 (I've always been open about my real age even though I understand i don't look it and people are normally shocked when I tell them) and I want to make some huge changes this year and become the best version of myself that I can. Thank you for inspiring that. Thank you for being here for me weekly. Although our lives are drastically different, you're still an inspiration to me. Thank you for just being you.

Hello sweet Jodi! Good on you for the shower upkeep! I struggle with it as well. Have you considered using the wooden toy box as a coffee table for the couch/loveseat area? Lol, here I am with everyone else rearranging your furniture 🌻🍄 Oh! I just love Donna Jean and Clarkie!

Over several days, (sound familiar) I decluttered Christmas decor & cleaned out under the basement steps where all seasonal decor lives. Today while the banana bread with mini chocolate chips was baking (try that) I decluttered & rearrange the storage containers & bowls cabinet.🎉

Hi Jodi 👋 now to WATCH. 😅 Ok. I watched... Great ❄️ ☃️! For pictures and artwork, a 1"x1" piece of wood the length of that wall when leveled & screwed into studs will make a great place to hang pictures OR pushpin/ thumbtack up artwork. Saves holes in the wall because anywhere I want to hang a picture I have something to attach the hangar to and everything is in a straight line. Great decluttering! I did get all the rug, backing, staples, tacks & furring strips up. 3 contractor bags of trash gone & 1 waiting for the morning to go out.... So I spent the rest of my time reorganizing, decluttering and putting things in their new more efficient places... I still have a small square 2.5' folding table of things on it to sort out and determine homes for. They are unfortunately, those things that are the hardest to decide if I want to let go of them or where I want to put them. And yes. I've rearranged some things multiple times, too😅😂... Already, the room feels larger and the next room on my agenda is percolating ideas round and round. We got 5" of fluffy snow over the weekend... Mostly melted around town. My front yard is north facing and because I dug out the solid "coal shovel " to get the snow off the steps and a 2'x1' strip at the base of the steps...that area is ice free. I used to have all the right gear and such but these days not so much. Mobility is an issue. If you think shoveling snow is easy, you should try doing it while using a cane .. yeah...not so much.😂 Exhausting! But by the time the next storm comes in I should be able to put the car back in the driveway. REALLY close to the sidewalk or it ices between and makes it difficult for me to get in & out of the 🚗. The pasta dish... You didn't say if Viviana liked it or not??? It did look good. Oh, yes, penne is a great option when no linguine is available. #1 son will be home by the weekend. Looks like they've been enjoying Thailand. Yesterday they had KFC and Ice 🍨 cream after a 4.5hours praise and worship service. So I'm thinking they're ready to come home. I will admit that the peacefulness and lack of dishes and lack of floor tracking while he's been gone has been nice. I hope he's glad to be home, too.

I've been working on washing the newborn and 0-3 clothes for our baby arriving in 10 weeks. I am also going through bins in our toy room and paring down things we don't use or need. I am running out of time when I will have any energy to do major tasks, so I am doing a little here and there.

The basement looks great. I’ve been decluttering closets and getting rid of a lot of things. It’s such a good feeling to have it gone. I’ve also been cleaning and re-organizing to make things look nicer. It’s a good time of year to do all that before the weather gets nice anyway, and you inspire me after I watch your videos. I like to do things over time too because I find that if I try to do it all in one day I get too tired and I don’t do as good as a job.

Hi Jodi, great job as always. I was just wondering if you considered putting up shelves or getting some bookshelves for some of the toys? That way, the kids wouldn't have to dig through the pile, and it would be easier for them to see what there is better. Just an idea

Hear me out on this because it was a GAME CHANGER for me; bring two things into your shower with you when you shower; a dawn powerwash and a scrub brush/sponge/ whatever. Then give the shower a quick scrub WHILE you’re showering!!! 🤩🤩🤩

Just my opinion here. I like how you moved the love seat and the couch but the corners of their arms should touch and there should just be a one-level table set between them like the one you had at the end of the love seat. You did put it there and I think it works well. That multi-level level table does not work there. You'd have more room for the kids to play. Put the multi-level table back at the end of the loveseat by the tv. I think that would work best and give you the most room. If you push the couch forward and make the corners of the arms made it won't be right by that post and you'll be able to get through easier
