Ivon has super decluttering skills... that really takes a load off! Because you seem to be solely responsible for storing things, you have to work at such a frenetic pace, especially while your company is there and your priority is to spend time with them, plus make meals and that sort of thing. It's no wonder garbage got shoved down there and it was all disheveled. My organizing heart was hoping the children's board games would be kept in the same bin and the Play-Doh supplies would be kept together but it could possibly work out better to bring up a different game and Play-Doh kit each day.

I did the large zip-locs for games and play-doh, too. It takes up 50% less storage space. ❤You did an amazing job; as always!!!!❤❤❤❤

Hi Karen, I too have grandchildren who I babysit twice a week. We love to go to the library. Our library has a great children’s area that they can play, build, and centers for imaginary play. They also have wonderful items you can check out like stem toys, baking kits, instrument, build kits, crafts, etc… I rarely buy toys. They love to go to the library to play, check out books, kits, and toys. They also have free tickets to our Milwaukee zoo, aquatic center, etc….. make sure you check out your closest llibrary.

Great job ladies! Can the board games go upstairs in a livingroom basket or cupboard. The zip lock storage sounds great too. Maybe a large wicker basket with a lid. Then the family would play the games more? Just an idea❤

To not waste $ on avacadis they sell frozen bags in the fruit section of the frozen foods. By smoothie fruits.. You can Carefully defrost for 30 sec. At a time..till thawed..they get a little soft ..but in a taco or dip its great. Hope this helps

Karen, great decluttering! Nobody else has said this yet so I'm just wondering from 2 videos ago if you also want to see the decorative birds better in your pantry- I love these birds! Have you tried since the makeover to utilize the door rack more and put the stuff either from the 2nd shelf or 3rd shelf down into the door rack? Then illiminate either of the shelves and shift down the rack holders one peg to allow more space between shelves and let in more light and see the birds better. I honestly don't think you need all the shelves. Also someone else's suggestion of cable (zip) tying the shelves so they're not so unstable would add some joy. I like those baskets too. You do a miracle job organizing food for so many people and dietary restrictions, so impressive!

We are focused on shoveling out, and getting clothes and floors dry! More snow! When I can get out I will restock our in house first aid box, and the emergency/ survival one in the car. Sorted freezer, washed out the fridge . Taking a hot diet Swiss Miss break then will but another this coat on the barn door. Good work! You will get there.🎉

We have some cube storage shelves in our living room for our grandkids toys and books. Works good. Just worked in our basement and have a large trash bag of donations I am taking to drop off this afternoon. Also,doing some work in our bedroom. Thank you for the motivation!!!

I tried freezing avocados and it was really gross to us. Once it defrosts the texture changes and is not good. I’m curious what you think if you try it.

Maybe put some of the toys with loss pieces in a ziplock bag and store together. I did this when my daughter was little. I also put all the game pieces in little baggies so nothing got lost
