My high school used both U-MMT and U-MHU for the noisy alarms...but I gotta warn ya...they set the alarms so loud in my high school that these alarms are capable of rupturing your eardrums if you're not careful. The solution; DO NOT install a U-MHU (let alone, any noisy alarm) in a small classroom.

My middle and HS did the same with Pyrotronics devices (think they are still in service last time I checked) After initiation, each system was programmed to have have an 8 second delay (only Strobes flashed) till the horns turned on went off which was pretty intresting programmable setting.

@@adamk9652 in my high school, the only fail-safe I ever got if I was unfortunate enough to witness a spontaneous alarm would be that, sometimes, the alarm would sound in the hallway first before the classroom due to a poor sync (which is against fire code...but on the other hand, this fire code violation had actually saved me in some situations).

@@LoyalmoonieProductions yeah that fire alarm fail definitely would be convenient enough to put on headphones or something lol. Tbh the Notifier system (Advances) in my 2nd HS hurt a ton more than the Pyrotronics system of my Middle School and 1st HS. For the first ever 2nd HS drill, I shot up out of my chair with enough force to push it over when the alarms went off. Paired with the higher ceilings and acoustics of a 1960s building and the loud volume (Would amusingly change the candela selection amusingly with each sound off of the horn) That system was the bain of my existence.

hmm i think bg community center did use this siemens system though but hornstrobes I wish I thas speaker stobe with siemens voice evac that came with it. but never mind that it is supposed to be freerun without being synced it is supposed to be smarter sync with the nac though. but originally it was actually faraday before cerberous pyrotronics was rebrand and rebrand again to siemens.
