Great vlog as always. I am an avid reader and always on the lookout for good books. One of my favorite authors is Kristin Hannah and loved "The Nightingale". By other authors, I recently finished "Where the Crawdads Sing", "The Silent Patient" and "The Great Alone". I have also sprinkled in books by Michael Connelly - all of the detective/mystery thrillers featuring Detective Harry Bosch (Amazon featured these books in the TV series). So many good books and so little time. I am also reading the Bible daily and on the one year plan to read all of it. God bless you and yours.

I was watching videos trying to find a paint color and came across your video from September. I just have to say, our basements have SUCH A SIMILAR LAYOUT. The staircase looks the same, the storage room to the left with the boiler, down the little “hallway” to the living area, tv in the same spot, bathrooms almost the same area, the laundry is different but similar area again and the extra closet you have in the corner past the bathroom which for me is electrical stuff. I know there’s no point in me telling you this but it just caught me off guard and I found it quite funny.

Hilary....I wanted a bite of that Stromboli, lol. I’m definitely going to check out that recipe. Although I don’t have a mixer that can knead I will figure it out. As far as your filling I’ve never thought of the cheeses with salt and parsley. What a great idea, I’m going to try. Question.... Does your basement get cold? We have a mid or split entry home and our downstairs is much cooler than our upstairs I’m was just curious about yours. Our teen and adult children bedrooms are down there and a couple of them use a space heater. On a side note we are working on our family room down there, a remodel and there is a gas fireplace but we are not sure if it works yet. Will be nice if that fireplace can heat some of the rooms too. Tks for sharing your blog. I always enjoy. And get new ideas.

Your pre-k homeschool and home projects are next level. You always make cooking look easy and homeschooling fun! I'm homeschooling my youngest (11 yrs/6th grade.) She will go back to private/Christian education in the fall where she attended K- 5th. Will the girls both go back next school year, or were you planning to continue on the homeschool path? The pandemic has been such a trial, with missing out on activities like dance, sports, theater, socializing. Even as conservative & cautious as we have been, we've had Covid in our house twice (due to older children bringing it home from work/high school/college.) 2020 was not a great year to be an older parent with adult children living at home.😅
