@@commodorekhan8602 hito is strong and didn’t need any buffs. Two fifty-fifty mix ups with the kick and sweep on top of having infinite hyper armor variable time heavy’s. If anything she’s need to be nerf a bit.

@@Cosmic_Djinn good reactions can negate both Hitos variably timed heavies and her kick mixup if you don't delay the feint in a specific way. But let's say you're someone who can't react to those. Her opener would still suck, her combo offense would be better (not the sweep tho cuz 99% of the time it can be interrupted), and her HA variable timing heavies aren't really pressure in a 1v1 situation. So lets say for 4v4 where they'd be better. They only do 22 dmg which is awful for trading heavies when chars like goki, zerk, raider, medjay, WL, etc exist that all out trade Hito. Plus, until these changes her trajectories also sucked so many times they wouldn't even hit anything. The only situation where they'd be a net positive is if you could peel for your teammates with it in time against a light attack. I hope they improved the UB, cuz thats the only real saving grace of these changes honestly. Also not to mention her finisher light that they took away the HA sucks A LOT. Nobody uses the move cuz its literally useless in pretty much every way. Annnnd her unique feats also suck because they really don't give any team utility. The T1 is the only real useful one if your teammates can stop enemies from bashing you out of it. Her T4 has always been meh, but once they made it parryable, it basically became a terrible T4 option. I might be forgetting more things but yes, all of that stuff makes her suck even with having good kick combo offense in just 1v1s

For anyone whining about hito buffs, the character is good at 1 thing in teamfights and that’s armor. They care about 4s more than 1s, and if you listened to the video their intention for hitokiri as a character is to be a big armored wall in a team fight, since she has no mobility, openers, or peel tools other than the dodge attack everyone gets, armored heavy opener, and a zone, respectively. She’s a very bare bones character that focuses on 1 niche, and that’s what they want her to be good at. She’s horrible at everything else, don’t whine that she has a good tool now.

Hito even with these buffs still won't be strong. The things that make Hito suck in 4v4s and 1v1s is the fact that his opener is garbage/nonexistent, his UB hitbox sucks, his trading dmg sucks, his kicks aren't good for ganks or teamfights, he doesn't have any kind of peel move, and his unique feats suck.

As someone with 26 reps on hito this is so uncalled for.. -not one person complained that hito s h armor is slow but i guess being unpatient to swing against hito is more dangerous than ever now. -removing armor from sweep makes the move way harder to land but given it s feintable i would say it can be fair.. it does guarantee a heavy after all -the light finisher should be removed entirely tbh, not just its h armor. Srsly who even uses that dump attack or light attacks on this character for other purpose than starting a chain? I would rather backstep a light than risk getting parried for some 13 damage or attempt a max of 2 light attacks mix up -slower kick after a light is again a fair nerf given it s accesable anytime during chains and feintable. Again it s all uncalled for. Hito is now more "buffed" to spam if it s needed and actually nerfed on more reliable openers. Can t wait to hop on back on the game and see them idiots get straight up quad deflected and dc when they realise people can actually even block

Not remotely true. Now the bashes work better at the higher levels, for most of us these bash changes made 0 difference in terms of reactability, if anything it made bashes easier for most to read.
