The Grom is a great truck. Got one for my 8yr old nephew. Super fun to drive and jumps well.

Great day out with the fam👍 I've been having that same issue as of late with my PH packs. Puffing but no fires. For me it's been a combo of age and cycles.

If I had to guess, the C rating says 100 but is likely not the case. The bigger Trucks will draw more amps from the battery and with a lower C rating could potentially overheat the batteries. Side note, its nice seeing you enjoy RC with your boys, I've tried many times with mine and He just has no interest.
