This is great for absolutely everything. The culture , the UK, the youth in general, history. As a 37 year old born in Newham but living all around East London and Essex and further beyond in my later years and as a mixed race man this resonates. My grandfather was a stowaway on a boat .. went on at 1st to work for The Mint and then he was a caretaker at West ham Park I believe that could be wrong but definitely one of the well known ones around that side. Larix (Lau) Hamilton

Yes bro.....just reading this and wondering if you're related to my family, who are Hamiltons in Forest Gate (right near West Ham Park). Reggie, Adris and Natalie ring a bell?

Dad is Paul the only Hamilton sibling of my grandad Lau and Nan direct , my nan is Betty recently passed, I had an uncle Reggie a yard man married to my auntie Kim half sibling (I don't count half ish but to give more info) They lived bang opposite then when my grandad died moved to Bethnal green my nan was actually ripped off for that yard she moved out of. Natalie and Adris don't ring a bell ATM

Loved watching this. Loved the different types of figures on the panel! Love that Bashy is back and fully representing and still highlighting what it’s like growing up in NW! Brent was home to me also and it’s always refreshing to see and hear people who really put it on the map! Can’t wait to review the album

The growth, the maturity, the proficiency. This is amazing, Bashy, Kano and Posty are definitely examples of the people you can become if you really put your mind towards something, despite setbacks. Huge role models for me, big respect.

Bashy real legend come up from alot of struggle. Success to success wish him well really want to see him do well. In acting in more major films as well as come back with music. Appreciate this setting with legends like Kano & Posty. Feel blessed watching this on a Saturday morning after recently watching Bashy’s EPIC daily duppy.

It's mad hearing Kano talk about Bashsy levelling up and saying how..just shows that imposter syndrome is real..because he himself has levelled up musically and acting wise...as for Bashy the growth is mad..cannot wait for the album..both 🔥 artists
@Yologism6 ай бұрын
Good point about imposter syndrome, but Kano did not say he himself was experiencing that. He just showed respect for Bashy’s accomplishments.
@DaaPoetry6 ай бұрын
@@Yologism I hear you and not saying he is experiencing that now..but has in the past which is why he asked..not sure if you remember when he took some time off music years ago and came back with that Anerican / rockish sounding music that didn't hit... So the fact Bashy has maintained that level after many years off is something to question

Pen game mad, actor and activist for the black boys who turned into black men, there’s not many Uk artist I’ve been intrigued to hear. Just pre ordered the new album! BIG UP BASHY! I always new bashy had a little more that what he showed growing up listing to grime from his early solo career, before& while he was in that group I can't recall the name, the famous clash with ghetts. I always pictured him becoming more, his wordplay to me was always a depiction of how articulate he was. Saw you in brunel Estate making the latest video didn't get a chance to stop and salute you! The growth is incredible, always pushing the envelope and forever inspiring 💯 Salute you Sir!

I remember the first time I heard you rappin, it was on that Yungen track ‘ain’t on nuttin’ and I remember thinking yourself and Stormzy carried that track with your verses but yours was especially hard 😂. In Top Boy you were class, you played the role unbelievably well, it was like one of those performances where people start thinking the actor is actually like that in real life.
