Sir, at last you have written the rotation formulas sir... But both the formulas for clockwise and anticlockwise are interchanged it seems sir.... If I am mistake I'll change sir.
@madhavkumar72777 жыл бұрын
I think there is one slight mistake in clockwise rotation, that too is only in figure. As in anticlockwise rotation the hypotenuse is rotated by angle theta( new angle is not theta) . Similarly in clockwise rotation it should be rotated by angle theta (new angle shouldn't be theta ). so theta should be angle btw both hypotenuse.

Sir, in the clockwise rotation diagram, I think you have mistakenly marked the theta angle wrong. The new angle should be theta - phi and not just theta. Please correct me if I am wrong. Regards
@sundeepsaradhi7 жыл бұрын
hi sowmya actual angle is phi and new angle (rotated angle) is theta so in clockwise rotation new angle will be phi-theta. or simple you can relpace -theta in place of theta in anti clockwise rotation. here what ever it be the same formula will be derived.. hope your doubt has been clarified..
@shubhamdg56537 жыл бұрын
Sundeep Saradhi Sir, I believe the theta will be between P(x,y) and P(x',y'). Please correct me if I am wrong but the expression new angle after rotation = fi - theta don't make sense if it's not the case.

Exactly theta is given in the wrong position...actually the original line is rotated in clockwise direction by theta. Angle between original and new line is theta. Theta is not the angle between new line and x-axis.
