I use to keep my knobs loose so i can switch the modes easily and just screw the transducer head. But i always store my transducer in the car during transportation.

Can you tell me what the yellow indicator you are using on the shaft? Aftermarket or DIY? I, too, have a ghost and find it difficult. That would help. Thanks.
