Basic AFK money making BDO (Red player journey)

Hey, Thanks for these videos. Discovered you yesterday and love watching you play and listening to the commentary. I only played bdo for 4 months or so when it first released in NA. Watching you though definitly makes me want to come back. So much iv missed and don't know how to start. Quite overwhelming. keep up the good work!

I realize this video is old BUT the better node to get for beer/cooking is the Shuri Farm Sweet Potato node. You get 3 kinds of potatoes. Normal Sweet Potatoes, High-Quality Sweet Potatoes, and Special Sweet Potatoes. You grind the normal ones for flour and use the other 2 for cooking/beer since you need less of them than a normal potato for recipes.

Well, for me it is processing mats to tier 3 (ingots, plywood, etc) and selling them, if I don't have 200 to put at once I am sending them to Trent to be changed into crates. I also produce costumes (fishing,cooking,etc) which actually give me up to 10 mil per day. If I don't have good amount of mats to process (at least 10k on stack) then I fish for shards. I get usually 30 to 80 mil a day, depending on processed stuff. Ofc I cook sometimes as well, but that is not my priority. Only when I overflow in wheat.

Ocean fishing can be really profitable if you plan on afking or manually fishing with triple float. Doesn't matter, Ocean fishing is the other best option.

You can also use corn to make beer, the Toscani Farm node near Velia has two corn nodes in it.

Honey isn't an advanced ingredient, use it for honey wine then package it for imperial.

Hey Layvan, Do you have cooking clothes +3? If not, you should really crank one out if you plan on playing this game long term.. 15minute per advanced utensil will get you to 300 CP in no time.

You can climb the cliffs NE literally that are right outside of the Sand Grain Bazaar, there is a few spots to get up quick instead of having to run clear around the side :) try it out sometime! great vids btw Layvan keep-em comin!

to go to pelgrim heaven, just walk east straight on the wall , u can climb it easy (with camel/horse/elephant) and than go north. It's a little shorcut , u safe some minutes...

Big Iron Rank 1 house is only needed for the grape crate. The node that is just the grapes has no requirement of that sort. Take another look you should see it.

Big Iron go talk to the node manager in person and you should be able to unlock it for energy.

A Red Player is someone with negative karma, meaning they did a lot of pking. To get back to positive karma, you need to do A LOT of grinding.

gabo lopez your gear is an important factor, but go to the places where you can farm for asula accs. So, helms and abandond iron mine. That is a must for your level.

Which items on the special deals market deal do you suggest insta buying after the maintenance?

grunil is always a safe bet, and I really just suggest taking a peek at the market before servers shut down and see what things are selling for. Maybe write them down or screenshot then hop back on. I don't go more specific because it changes, but crystals and grunil are always usually a safe bet.

Hi man i ve been kinda impressed lately that u still live a life of red but anyway if u didnt mind to answer few questions i would be glad 1. Arent u scared of downgrade getting zerked into mobs and u think being red is worth that risk? 2. Is that somekind of like doing things for fun or ppl flag and kill ppl on bosses for a reason? 3. Would u mind to tell me pros and cons of being red or making a whole video about it?

The only Pro to being red is having to not worry about karmabombing and the %xp quest you get from the bandit town. The cons however are a LONG list The reason why I do it is to just show how much I disagree with the system, but I do enjoy the challenge as well. It really revived my interest in the game. I can't really imagine NOT being red. I don't pk at bosses really at all. Not the place to IMO. I'm always scared of getting downgraded, but it's all about taking precautions and being aware to not let that happen.

I've only ever been a grinder, I'm level 60 with 14% to 61 (not a lot but I just came back from break.) Thing is I have 300m in pirate coins if I get Artisan 2 trading. I just got done TET rouletting so I have 4 pieces PRI/DUO with my awakening being TRI and Tree Armor being TET. All of this said, do you think I should go full grind mode and try to get 61, or should I take a couple days to setup some nodes, work on trading, and setup lifeskilling?

think about it his way, if you don't want to life skill, the nodes I mentiuoned inthe video you don't need ot do anything to sell the products. Also, the cooking is AFK. SO while you are grinding away to 61 (which I reccomend) you will have workes gathering you money WHILE you're grinding for FREE pretty much. maximizing profits. So I suggest taking a day and setting up a few nodes.
