The K sound is not that hard. Say cat like 15 times in a row. You might notice you start only saying the first letter c. Then while you do that inhale.

Yeah that’s the biggest problem beatboxer have. Learn the Inward K Snare, it’s not as easy as the normal K snare, but it sounds quite cooler and helps you breathing in while beatboxing
