We used bus sends a lot for the P16s. Drum kit, for example. But being able to send a single channel is really cool too. The 16 sources you choose are sent to all P16s but each station can select and set up their own mix from those channels.

Yes, please show the hardware setup for this. I was considering into the P16s for my band members at church. Currently I'm trying to get them to use the Behringer app or Mixing Station to adjust their levels. Its a work in progress. I think maybe having a physical unit beside them would work better than a tablet/phone.

Great video. I know you’re just doing the basics, however, you can also assign a BUS mix to one of the P16 channels to save space. So you can do a BUS mix for just vocal mics so the band can have one channel to bring up or down the vocal mics.

I was trying to figure this out, I want to make Piano (Stereo L and R) just one Channel instead of Linking 2 channels. How do you achieve assigning a Bus to a P16 channel?

Yes Ajay. I would like to see how the networking is done on this in-depth. Are the satellite units daisy-chained or do they each connect to a switch? or can you do a combination of both?

They can be daisy chained or connected directly to the powerplay hub. Daisy chaining would require each unit to be powered while connecting to the hub sends power over the ethernet cable

Greetings AJay!! We at Bullock Temple CME Church have, essentially, the same setup as you have there. We just have a full X32. So, we have X32 to S16 (Via AES50), then the P16 hub to the P16s (Via Ultranet from the S16). What seems to be the issue is that the P16s only "see" what's connected to the S16. I can't get the P16s to "see" what's connected locally to the X32. All my instruments are connected to the S16 and my 8 wireless mics are connected to the X32. I've tried in the routing to select the local inputs, but it doesn't effect what's heard on the P16s. Any help that you could give would be greatly appreciated! (Sorry for the long post!)

Make sure your sources to the P16s are routed correctly. It sounds like they’re not. Go to the P16 page under routing and verify the source channels or bus.

Ajay! Great video but I have some questions. I have the XR18 and have 2 fx channels set. When I turn up the mic on the P16 I don’t get any of those effects. Can you help?

The P16 normally gets a direct line from the channel which ignores fx. You need to send the fx channel to the p16 if you want to hear it

Hello Ajay, If you have more than 1 P16 setup, are there individual settings for each P16 or are the assigned 16 channels universal for multiple P16s?

No everything is global but each unit can have different volumes set for each channel. The overall channels are exactly the same across all units

Can you skip the job and go directly into the P16? And just daisy chain 1 or 2 more?

Yes but you would need to power each as daisy chaining will not provide power to the units

Ajay, what is Halo 1 and Halo 2? I am not familiar with the product.

Those are mics that loop around the head and ears of the speaker so they are free to use their hands.

I have issues with mine. 1 of my p16 mixers has all the lights flashing and I dont have signal coming in from the p16d.

If they are all flashing I believe that means they are all muted

This is a very late response haha My question is on the P16, can you control any channel even if it’s coming through the S16? So like, if my vocal mics are running on the main console, and all of my instruments are running through the stage box, is it possible to have my vocals mics as well as instruments running from the stage box to the p16? If that makes any kind of sense.. 😂

You select up to 16 direct channels or mixes so any combination will work and address adjusted on that specific p16

So I’ve connected everything and there’s signal going to the p16, but I think my routing is messed up some how. I’ve got the keyboard setup to run on channel 1 and 2, but it’s coming through 7 and 8. Not sure what the deal is with that?

I actually figured out what’s going on. Channel 7, 8 is left and right mains running from the stage box. Not sure how that happened.. How do I fix this?

Go into the ultranet routing and change your input for those channels
