Understanding The Behringer P16 Signal Path

I thought that if a musician is using P16s to for his monitor mix (channels set to pre-EQ), each channel is sent directly to his P16, where he mixes it himself. There's no point to a monitor bus, unless you're sending it somewhere else.

I don't think you understand the input structure for the P16. You don't have 16 channels of inputs, you have 16 types of inputs ranging from individual channels, busses, matrices, FX, Mains, etc. If you run sub groups and assign your 7 mics to a sub group, then you can assign those 7 mics to 1 input for your P16, leaving you 15 additional inputs.

I am new to the x32 rack .. just set up yesterday.. we have the x32 in our sound booth . And the stage box and p16 on the stage.. i am getting everything with all instruments plugged into the stage box .. but we have a couple of wireless mics running into the x32 and i cannot get any audio from them on the p16s .. not sure what the issue is . Any suggestions ? Thanks

If you have your wireless mics on channel 3,4 and 5 as an example, then you need to have channels 3,4 and 5 assigned to the P16. Are you getting sound out of the mains from the wireless mics?
