nice lecture. Thanks. Although i had some issues following it methodically. One instance for example, at 11:12 , it is said that there are two components 'a' and 'b' for the cosine wave, which are 'f1' and 'fc' resp. However, the equation at the end which should be 1/2( cos (a +b) + cos(a-b) ) , is actually written as , 1/2 (cos(a+b) + cos(b-a)) As such, This is not a big deal. But considering students coming to the lectures are really going to be learning basics, these errors/typos will further add to the confusion. It shouldn't be glossed over. In all, thanks for posting the view though. much appreciated.

Cosine is an even function so cos(b-a) = cos (a-b)

hi sometimes we have a rf signal that it's not repeatitive like a sound wave how can we downconvert this signals to sampling with low sample rate analog to digital converters? is there any way?

Sir. What happens when LO and RF frequencies are same?
