its like being told what to do by a teacher. from what to do to why you do it that way. brilliant.

Used microset/sol method for the first time using your technique. Revell P47 with Tamiya paint finish. Tamiya gloss clear as the prep - all airbrushed. Really well pleased with the result, went exactly as described in the vid. Only needed a single application of sol to get a good painted on look.

Great video sir! I only wish videos such as this had existed back when I was making models as a kid back in the 80's! FYI, Makeup sponges are also great for lightly pressing decals down and soaking up any access water/solution.

Great tutorial. I watch this (and your other one) every time I start decalling to remind myself how to do it properly. Current having issues with getting Kora decals to sink into the rivet holes on my 1/48 Éduard 109. Tried Set/Sol and the deadly Ammo Mig stuff. Any thoughts? Was thinking of pricking them all with a pin, but that’s a last resort. Thanks.

I've found that sometimes the brand of decals makes them hard to move around, even with microscale.

Best decaling video I've seen. What do you do if you come back later and an edge of your decal has lifted up. (maybe from going around a tight curve) Will one of those solutions glue it back down or do you need something else. Is it easy to soak away too much of the decals adhesive? Would love to see a video on decaling problems/solutions.

first off, excellent tutorial. gave me enough confidence to actually try these solutions. second, micro set just beads up immediately and doesn’t spread like your video demonstrates. Is there some dilution needed? Also, the micro sol doesn’t wrinkle the decal either. I’ve taken all steps necessary to prep for these solutions with cleaning to clear coats, etc. what could I be doing wrong?

Great tutorial, I've modelled for a year or so and still have issues with decals all the time. The finish on your airplane there looks great. Satin finish? I was wondering what specific varnish you like to use before starting decals. --Thanks

What do u use to wipe the excess decal solution off the paimt work as i noticed u carnt evan see any smudges or any marks were its been does it actually dry like that or does it make a mess if not cleaned up properly decal solution looks great it makes the decal look thinner and make it looks like its stook on the paintwork
