Hi Lewis hope your well. Oxford fan here I was worried about this game before it started. In the first half I thought you were good going forward git through way to easily. 2nd half we improved. I thought we were unlucky not to get pen. I was shocked on how much time greig leigh had free for the 3rd goal. Referee I thought was shocking for both sides tonight he was card happy. Good luck for the rest of the season and hope to play you again next season hopefully in the championship. I hope that we can stay up ourselves good luck Lewis

This sits with the board , they haven’t invested correctly with the players. The fact that Woodrow is still in the squad and gets on the pitch goes to show we have something seriously wrong at the club

Positives - our goals were great. MacG really was determined to get that ball to Krauss who hit it beautifully! Matt has had little time to see how deep the problems are but 2 games in, he is clearly angry. I am stunned that we don’t have a single PL loan player in our squad to help boost competition. Morris and Eli again proving why they both need to be sold off or dropped and the captain arm band needs to stay with a midfielder or better still defender. Agree about Thomas and as an ex defender myself, those were balls you’d expect a Sunday morning keeper to come for and either gather or punch away from danger. 3 points and no excuses on Saturday allowing Matt 2 weeks before the next game to shake them up, or move them on.

I agree. Kaminski should have come for 2 of those crosses without question. He cannot command that area on top of having awful dead ball distribution

Adebayo most of the time is like a fart in a trance, then he does something brilliant. Like 3 times a season. I love Carlton, he's so brave and always alone up front. But this system failed in the Premier League and is now failing in the Championship. Time to bin it and re-set to stay in this league. For Oxfords third goal the invisible man left early and went down the pub.

Lewis, I hoped for Shea to become No. 1 after Kaminski's sending-off. My opinion hasn't changed. There's more to goalkeeping than shot-stopping and that's all he has. Doesn't command his area, poor distribution and bizarrely incapable of kicking a ball with any accuracy!

Rob Edwards should have gone months ago, maybe after the hammering by Middlesbrough. Sides like Coventry and QPR have seen a big uptick in performances since their managerial changes. Have we left Matt Bloomfield with sufficient time?

QPR stuck with their Manager and saw improvements after 16 odd games. We waited until game 24/25. There's a short break coming up for Matt to do some more work with the players but the timing of the change could be too late with games coming thick and fast. There's a reason why everyone else made changes around the same time. Rowett would have been my pick and has proven how he can transform a side.

Your comments about Kaminski and being loyal to players arei spot on. The squad is going to need redefining and the January window is not ideal for that. Re: Kaminski - he may be a good shot stopper but part of the role of the GK is being vocal and organising those in front of you. TBH if I was MB that would be the starting point for the rebuild. The club had a good opportunity in the summer with Michael Cooper and Viktor Johansson becoming available. I imagine that wages were baulked at.....

Relegation is inevitable! Second worse goal difference... Most defeats in the league, and a completely unorganised team, whose morale has been shattered by the continuation of the madness of the Edwards era, not to mention a manager that is inexperienced in the big leagues! Players that have a losing ideology installed by the Edwards reign... A board that is reluctant to splash the cash, and because of that has in my opinion signed and sealed our return to league 1 ! A positive is that Edwards is not in charge, and this gives us a fighting chance of staying up! COYH - It's time to show some teeth, rather than just turning up and waving a white flag!

Well done Lewis great video. I am so glad someone is calling Kaminski out as for sometime it is obvious that he needs to command his box. Krul or Shea need to be given a chance. I do have concerns of Shea coming for cross as do remember he coming and not getting there on several occasions and Krul every time I have seen him hasn’t look great but one of them deserve a chance

Adebayo and Morris no longer capable of playing up front, new blood needed. Clarke and Kraus should be playing with Walsh and Chong behind. Mpanzu and Bell not performing at this level. Holmes and Kaminski need a kick up the backside. No point playing four at the back if two defenders mark one forward and leave another free to check his phone for messages before heading home the winner.

Good video Lewis - if Kiminski was that good he would be playing for a top Prem Club - I have always said play Shea as he commands his box well - get rid of Morris posturing does not make a good Captain- Bell is poor but get big Mick to work with Elijah again - rest Holmes - sell sell sell in the windows remaining days and buy/loan a couple of good attackers - I thought MBs press report was good

100% agree with your comments and frustrations re another game where too many players shot themselves , their teamates , manager and fans in foot !! I wont repeat my previous comments about defenders who have mistakes in them and mis firing forwards ALL season but ,until today , Ive never commented on gk Thomas : your comments are spot on . Ive always been puzzled at Sheas lack of gametime under Edwards because, to me, Shea has been a reliable very good all-round keeper for Town and never let us down . Krul I dont really know apart from seeing him play for Newcastle and Norwich but I guess any gk playing behind current defence is going to be frequently in action

Defensively, we have gone from Lockyer and Osho, who are relatively fast competent defenders to two static, immobile defenders who can't read the game. If you are not agile, you have to have a footballing brain, but unfortunately, they don't. In the 2 games I've seen of Jones, I'm not impressed. I know we have to give him time, but he has to improve significantly. We are now in a proper relegation battle and if we get cut off from the pack, this team doesn't have the fight to get us out of it. We need transfers. I read that an offer for Kone has been turned down. Let's hope we can get him because the two strikers who got 20+ goals between them last year are way off it.

Chill..... We've overachieved for a while. Only one team can win each week. This seasons a write off. As was 2024 in truth. New boss will need time... But anyone who thought we'd be a promotion side this year has lossed sense of reality. Our promotion was miracle work. The money has not been reinvested in the playing squad.

Lewis ive given up now.We are doomed.I can see us finishing bottom of the league. The players are a disgrace.The signings this season,utter crap. We need to cancel the players contracts.Get some decent players in January window. But will the board splash the cash.Probably not,as all the seemed bother in,is the new ground. We are an absolute mess of a club right now, and have been for the past 12 months. IMO, the board acted too quickly to appoint MB - he comes across as another RE type of "nice guy" - these players need a manager who wont be afraid to hold back. As much as MB might be a great manager, he is very inexperienced and hasnt managed at this level. Would love to know who the board actually spoke with other than MB. Recruitment has been awful, but have their instructions on the type of player come from the board? We've taken the piss out of W*tford with the way they went about their parachute payments from the prem, but (new stadium aside), we're being just as bad IMO. I've been supporting Luton since the mid 80s, and with the capital we have, this is by far the worst it's been

If You Fail to Plan, You Are Planning to Fail! I believe the Board failed to adequately plan for life in the Championship. The planning & targeting of players should have happened in March last year. Our preseason was a disaster & we made a number of poor panic buys. Edwards became a liability & should have gone in November! I believe there is the real possibility that we will be playing L1 football next season & the Board must start planning a worst case scenario. We may then have a chance of coming straight back up. Yes, it really is that bad!

Watching the game last night on TV I would have thought that the team had met for the first time in the car park. Our so called striker (EA) is on a different planet to most other strikers playing football today. He has no composure, no direction and no idea where the goal is. He cannot jump for headers and constantly trips over his own feet. Time he was offloaded. (CM) Bless his cotton socks works hard but doesn't understand the offside rule. As for (AB) he should not be allowed to put on a Luton Town FC shirt ever again. The board need to spend some money soon and dump 3-4 of the current players before we drop into the 1st division. There is absolutely no point in having a 27K seater stadium if you are luck enough to get 6-7K through the gates.

Have to look at how poor the recruitment has been too. They used to say they signed players with good character but I don’t see it just players going through the motions. Really disappointed and upset by this season. Been watching them over sixty years.

I don't really get this criticism of Kaminski. He rarely if ever makes a mistake, he has clearly sticks to the six yard box which is okay as the defenders know. Excellent shot stopped, never drops a cross and his distribution passable. Trouble is he is behind a defence that have no idea what they are doing, as you say, all three goals were defenders ball watching.

Nakamba and Clark were performing well when the 4 subs were made ithe midfield totally lost their way. You are right Walsh should have come on and played along side Clark. Morris and Adebayo are totally out of place and we do need replacements, shame that Taylor no longer with us. At least he won't score asgasinst us next season he will be as division above us

We were going long so often, I think that must've been a Bloomfield instruction. Agree these were basic defensive errors and poor performances but we are now seeing the deep damage that Edwards has left behind. This is his legacy. Bloomfield had had less than a week with the players and we've seen some improvements. I'm no apologist for him, in fact I wouldn't have appointed him. But the board are at fault here for sitting on their hands for so long when it was clear they should have acted months ago. The rot has been left far too long.

Adebayo breaks down so many attacks by committing silly fouls or being caught offside, kaminski will not come for high crosses, see their last goal, and will parry or punch the ball rather than catch it. pelly nearly did it again stumbling and will only pass the ball backwards, Holmes is a league one player, the only two players that were worth their money were taken off, Clark and Krauss. 9 days left to deadline day we need a fast defender and a replacement for Joe Taylor who will get to play.

He also cost us 2 goals last night. There's no question he should have come for the two crosses and either punched them clear or at least put their player off from scoring, going down and getting a possible foul. He sticks to that goal line 247 and cannot command his area.
