I'm a beginner and found you the other day. I binge-watched and shared every video of yours I saw, on Pinterest.❤ I hope that helps your Channel. I've been doing exercises of circles eclipses and was so discouraged. I almost gave up. As I watch your videos I noticed how you were holding a pencil and then you referred to this video. This video is everything!❤ I immediately true beautiful eclipses my circles still need work, but before learning from you on how to hold a pencil, I threw away all my practice circles. I was embarrassed. I think if people were to see it, they would wonder how I could sign my own name with sloppy circles like that 😂

Drawing circles and ellipses is hard, because of what I explained in the other video on How to Improve Your Circles. Don't be embarrassed. To the day, my circles aren't perfect. Totally agree about freehand vs tracing/grids. Like watercolor, paper makes a difference . I only use 3 or 4 different pencils too. Fun to fill up sketchbooks too.Full watch Erika.😀
