Thank you for the video. Question. I have a MT8073ie with two ethernet ports. I would like to connect to the PLC to lan2 with one ethernet cable and then run another ethernet cable from LAN 1 to customers IT network. Is it then possible to still connect to both the HMI and the PLC through the customer's IT network. I know that lan1 and lan2 need to be on different subnets, but I am still having trouble setting this up. Any help would be appreciated

Hello, excellent video. I would like to ask a question. I have two Weintek HMIs. One is a CMT3161x model, which is already configured and connected to a PLC in a transformer substation. The other HMI, which is placed in the workshop where I usually work, is a CMT2166x model, new and not yet configured. I would like to be able to view and control the HMI connected to the PLC in the transformer substation from the HMI in my workshop. How can I establish this link between the HMIs? Thank you.

Hi @facudegregorio4094, Without in-depth knowledge of the network it is difficult for us to answer this question. However, there are some network devices that can route communication from your workshop HMI to the substation. The IT personnel at your site may be able to recommend a specific device for this task.

Hello, The port number mentioned at 1:17 is the default port configured within the PLC's IDE. This is not a physical port, but a virtual port with which the PLC can receive data.

Hi Syed, Within this application, we would recommend that you use an Ethernet switch to place both HMIs on the same IP subnet as the PLC. Alternatively, you can also communicate with the PLC by adding it as a "remote" device within one of the HMI projects. Hi Khải, There are many factors that can affect communication speed. I would suggest that you implement a direct connection between the HMI and PLC to ensure that this issue is not caused by a faulty router or switch. If the issue remains, try building a simple project that contains only one toggle switch and attempt to replicate the issue. If you cannot replicate the issue within the simple project, it is possible that a communication error exists within your actual project. To find out if a communication error exists within your project, please use EasyDiagnoser.
