Gee, nothing has changed. I worked on the AS/400 back in 1995/1996 and it's exactly the same as what you have there! I was coding in COBOL. I left before the year 2000 and sometimes wonder if that code 'exploded' when the clock ticked over from 1999 to 2000. 😆

How did you set up the initial object HELLOW? Managed to set up account and log in using TN5250 on Windows and in OSX.

Hey, since uploading this, did you get to learn a lot about i Series programming? I find it fun sometimes, and frustrating as well.

you need to clear your message, each time you run program it will generate new message

Move the cursor to any one message you want to remove, and press F11. As a developer, it’s useful NOT to clear all messages from your interactive session, bc the queue may contain error messages which are helpful in debugging.

Tried to setup a new user on PUB400 but see that it is down due to misuse -- does anyone know if it will be coming back???
