I used a few of these with my new boss (I am a server in a Japanese Restaurant in the US), and my boss Taka is from Kyoto and was very honored I took the time to even attempt to learn some of these. Thank you for such a thoughtout video with many scenarios that I am now able to incorporate in our conversations.

I’ve been visiting Japan for two weeks, I learned some greetings and used them with the people and they are always surprised or with a smile to know I tried to learn, in my language I always ask others how they are so I use a lot: Genkidesu ka? (How are you?) ❤

Both ください and おねがいします are used when making requests or an order politely. おねがいします is more formal and humble expression so it is often used in formal circumstances.
