Basic Joystick Setup for War Thunder

Quick demonstration on how to setup a joystick and some things to know and mess around with when doing so.
I have a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, but this will work for anything, you will just have to set your buttons differently, if you haven't already.

Yes, thank you . . good, easy to understand explanations, I have the exact same joystick and have been trying to get it set up properly for a while now.... this got me where I needed to be. Excellent Video...Your's is the only is the one that shows how to basically set up a joy- stick. I still can't fly as easily as I can with mouse control but then that's the computer flying the plane. I hope to improve with practice. Thanks!

Keith's Collection Practice in Singelplayer campaings or Dynamic campaings. Difficulty level on Simulator. Thats how i practice.

best tutorial so far just got my stick. TY Yes the Third person view is when ur riding or viewing all from outside of Plane??? cuz i would like to make that my default i get real Dizzy when in the cockpit.

How this is not the single most viewed WR video I'll never know, I'd repost with some new features, and some in-cockpit hat views of the magnetos, gear levers etc, and anything else new. I'm just now downloading the new HD client on my new laptop and it's taking days. Trying different servers but advice on the fasted way would be great as even the historical missions and campaigns are unavailable without the HD client installed. IDK about WWarships but I've got it downloading now I can only assume it's huge. NOt real interested but worth a try. Thank You!!!

have same joy. war thunder has the option for it in there wizard but war thunder does not acknowledge my joy is there at all, cant get it to work to be able to bind help please. also if i go to the controls help there is no joystick help,

I was wondering if you still use the 3 D Pro extreme, the reason I ask is I just brought 1. For some reason on take off I crash (when wheels get off ground I go hard left and into the ground) can you help me.

Do you think the joystick is better in the game than the mouse and why? Looks like not to many people do not use the stick. I just got the 3d Pro but not getting any kills. Hard to control.

Serious issue I'm having with my Extreme 3D Pro. Once I'm in the air, if I bank hard in any direction, the plane likes to just spaz out jerking from side to side. Like if I roll left and pull back on the elevator, the plane will jerk itself to a right roll, pitch down, jerk left, pitch up. I don't know what's causing this, so I thought I'd ask. Maybe you've had this issue and know how to correct it?

I realize it's an old post, but I've been there with satellite internet in bad weather days. It's basically just lagging, or somebody could be cheating with a connection kill or pause switch to line up on you or close in better and faster. Mine resolved with a patch and my internet is cable now but not much faster at all

I know this is a old thread but... Do you have to set up the controls for each different lane? and if so are they automatically selected when you select the plane or how do you select the profile you set up? Another question. If someone shares their set up with you how do you install it what files does it go in and how do you select it>

I got the thrustmaster joystick as a gift and im having trouble setting up the axis's.I can only move it one direction for each axis and when i move to the other side it evens out at a neutral position.
