Hey Eliza. I'm thinking about purchasing a RD-800. Is it really that good as they say in all of those promotional vids? What is your experience.

Hmmm The piano is decent. I like a lot sounds variety and live sets. What I like less is the keyboard (in touch). I prefere old ones from Roland. I don't like, that the casing is plastic (but thanks to this, the weight is reduced). Also, this is really a stage piano. I did not manage to make it sound verry good at home. But the piano sounds quite good in recordings. I think I would purchase it once again but first, I would check out the previous version RD-700. Thanks for your comment! Hugs ~ElizaT
