Thank you for putting this together, as someone new to dinghy sailing, it is helpful to have it broken down like this and on land so that you can clearly see what's going on. Now to remember it for when we're allowed back on the water!!

Very useful. This provides a good introductory overview to sail controls. It makes several key points and offers meaningful explanations of them yet does not overwhelm the viewer with information or theory. Ideal for someone like myself who's kind of got the rudiments of sailboat handling down and is looking to move to the next level of sophistication and performance.

Having a boat on its side is such a good way of learning about sail controls and shapes! I have one correction: the kicker moves the draft of the sail aft and the cunningham moves it forwards.

Excellent idea using gravity to demonstrate the way the sailshape may be controlled, allows time to study the effects in a static environment. 👍
