What about hole 1 overblow? Could you show us that?

Looks a v useful video but the sound level is so low that it's v hard to hear what you are saying. I can hear that you are closing the blow reed gap but I can't hear if you are making adjustments to the draw reed. The problem I have is that the blow reed chokes off OK but the draw reed does not kick in to give me the minor third. I've tried varying the draw reed gap but doesn't seem to help on my Hohner Special 20 :(

More details on theory of overblowing, why reed alteration is needed or useful, and here the fact as I understand it, the actual reed that plays in overblows is the DRAW reed of the same hole, and this video shows how to narrow the blow reed so as to initiate the vibration of its counterpart. Question begging to ask, is whether such changes contradict or thwart the ability to bend upper blow notes as in classic Jimmy Reed songs? New to overblowing, I can't visualize what technique separates overblowing from bending blow notes downward, and how optimizing for one wouldn't reduce the ability to use the other.

For the most part it is the blow reed... however, a small fine adjustment to the draw reed might make it sound a little better
