I've just enrolled in plumbing changing carriers from a long-time butcher for the last 5 years, and I decided to look into plumbing and go through a school and enroll in an apprenticeship as well, I do like what I do, and make 32 an hour as a butcher, so initially I am looking at the pays and do feel a bit disgruntled that it would be less than what I make, but over the time of growth, I'd be making more. Which I'm willing to go through. I'm trying to learn all about plumbing to prepare myself

Hey Kenny, I was wondering how much the schooling is going to be when you have to go ? I'm 5 week away from finishing my schooling for my pre-apprentice program and going to be starting to look for work, I'm really excited! Also I'm from Ontario as well :) and I really enjoy your video's !

Hey Jacob thank you for the support friend. And congrats on almost being done the pre-apprenticeship! School is approximately $700-$800 per semester from what I remember. Hope this helps!

Hey Kenny, I am Charbel, 24 years old from Lebanon, majored in computer science for some reason!!!! and I really enjoyed watching your videos! However, I really and desperately have some questions before going to Canada in January 2025. I am an international student who applied for a plumbing mechanical techniques program at Algonquin College Ottawa. I always had a thing for skilled trades especially plumbing so that is why I decided to take this program in Canada and perhaps find an apprentice after graduation. Will it be hard for me as an international student to find and apprenticeship while studying and stay as a legal worker(co op work visa) after my study program is over to continue my apprenticeship? Can I apply for a red seal under my work visa? Is it worth it money wise(does it make a living) after completing the apprenticeship and opening my own business? My whole plan and goal is to study plumbing in Canada. Work during my studies in plumbing, apply for an apprenticeship right before I graduate(or before if I had an opportunity), renew my work permit, complete my apprenticeship program(3-5 years), apply for red seal, have my own plumbing business. Is this hard for me as an international student?

Congrats on finishing the COFQ! How did it go?!

@@Kennymolotov it went well I think! I have to be optimistic. The exam was hard. Lots of water treatment questions on the IP and Well pump, septic systems. Wasn't as prepared for that. Along with process piping. Threw me for a whirl. I really enjoyed the learning but school is super intense

Nice man! It’s so hard to know how you did after just because it’s such a difficult exam! Let me know how it goes and don’t be discouraged if you need to re-write…you got this!

Do you know if the isometric drawing was given to you right at the first week of schooling? I'm a little nervous as I've never done floor plans at all.

Nothing to worry about, they will teach and explain everything, and give help if needed. Schooling is good times, enjoy.

It wasn’t the first week Denver. It was one of the later projects in the semester. Like @Demitri1899 said, they teach you how to start one and you get the hang of it! Best of Luck!
