Hi there, I have 1 big question. Would it be possible to combine 1 mechanical tranny and 1 powershift tranny in 1 machine (tractor)? So, I have 6 cylinder diesel air cooled deutz engine on tractor with 8 speed manual transmission. I also have powershift 3 speed transmision (converter and tranny are separated) very similar like you have in your book. For my aplications powershift would be better, but problem is it only have 3 speeds. Would be possible to combine manual and powershift, so i get 3*8=24 speeds? Would speed on gears be to high? sorry for my english its not my first language

If I get your question right. You want to combine 2 gearboxes you have? The short answer is, no. But they do make powershift with manual 4 speed combined. Valtra utelizes this for instance. You have the same amount og gears in forward and reverse. Say you have a 4speed with powershift. "Manual gears" are 1 to 4 Powershift are ABCD That means you can go 1. Gear A-B-C-D 2.gear A-B-C-D And so on and so on This can also be combined with a hydrostat or variomatic pump for 0-50kmt in "one gear"

Anything is possible. Obviously would need custom machined parts but with the space and persistence it could be done.
