Basic Skills Revisited: Homemade Fire Starters.

The first of a once a month video revisiting some basic outdoorsman’s skills. In this video I set about making some simple waterproof (fingers crossed) fire starters .

Thanks Pal, they do work well, though I think I overdid the paraffin as even double bagged the smell still seeps out.

Since you have deep influences in Britain and Australia do you prefer marmite or Vegemite?

I don't know about the extent of my influence but when I ate such stuff, it was Vegemite all the way!
